Job summary

Silver Lining Homecare Inc. seeks compassionate CNAs/Home Service Workers to deliver person-centered in-home care, assisting with daily living activities and medication reminders in clients’ homes and community settings. You will support dignity and independence while reporting to the Homecare Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED required
• State-approved CNA or Personal Care Assistant program (or comparable experience)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• TB test and physical as required
• Successful background check
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Minimum of 1 year of home and community-based care experience

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, toileting and mobility
• Provide medication reminders per care plans and HIPAA guidelines
• Complete accurate daily documentation of services
• Support memory care needs (dementia/Alzheimer's)
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry for a safe living environment
• Observe and report changes in client condition to Home Care Supervisor
• Operate assistive devices (Hoyer lifts, transfer equipment) safely
• Provide emotional support, companionship, and social engagement
• Communicate effectively with clients and family members
• Follow safety protocols including CPR and First Aid
• Complete incident reports and participate in investigations

We are seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) / Home Service Workers to provide high-quality, person-centered care to individuals in their homes and community settings, including assisted living and long-term care environments. Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with physical or developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or Alzheimer's disease
• Knowledge of client observation and reporting techniques
• Familiarity with HIPAA and confidentiality standards
• Experience using Hoyer lifts and safe transfer techniques
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as required for the role; bilingual Spanish is a plus
• Strong dependability and reliability
• Ability to follow care plans, procedures, and assignments
