Job summary

ADT Security Services is seeking a Residential Service Technician in Miami to troubleshoot and service security systems, advising customers and the care center on system status. You will read blueprints and coordinate inspections with appropriate agencies, ensuring proper operation and response to issues.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma or GED, with experience repairing ADT or similar product lines.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to read building electrical and sprinkler plans as required for clearing equipment trouble.
• Standing, stooping, lifting, climbing, crawling

Responsibilities

• Services fire and carbon monoxide detection, networking, hosted video solutions, and access control.
• Follow and complete required processes of wired/wireless technology and connection procedures.
• Test and validate system signals/communication with central monitoring to properly establish service.
• A customer service champion, demonstrating the willingness to help our customers fix as well as understand the protection in their home.
