Job summary

Lincare is seeking a field-based Respiratory Care Technician to perform timely equipment setups in patients' homes, including ventilators, monitors, CPAP units, and oxygen systems.

You will educate patients, conduct assessments, and ensure documentation meets regulatory standards. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required for home visits; weekend on-call shifts may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Provides patient education as part of patient care according to policy.
• Performs comprehensive patient assessments according to Lincare procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and related concepts.
• Follows Safety & Regulatory Manual policies (OSHA, DOT, FDA).
• Represents Lincare with professional appearance and accurate written reports.
• Requires a valid driver’s license for travel to patients’ homes.
• On-call evenings and weekends as scheduled by center size.

Responsibilities

• Sets up high-technical equipment such as ventilators, monitors, and CPAP units.
• Provides technical assistance with equipment.
• Sets up oxygen equipment as needed.
• Maintains patient records and reports per accreditation standards.
• Responds promptly while on-call.
