Job summary

Lincare Holdings is seeking a field clinician to perform timely setups for ventilators, monitors, CPAP units and other oxygen equipment in patients' homes. You will educate patients, conduct assessments, and ensure accuracy of documentation while adhering to safety standards.

Role requires a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle, with on-call coverage evenings/weekends as needed. Requires familiarity with home healthcare practices and professional patient interaction.

Qualifications

• Excellent human relations to interface with doctors, other referral sources, and patients
• Computer literate
• Clinician authorized within scope of practice (as established by applicable state law)
• Must have valid driver's license and access to personal vehicle

Responsibilities

• Provides patient education as part of patient care in home settings
• Performs complete and professional patient assessments according to policies
• Keeps updated on respiratory homecare techniques
• Follows Safety & Regulatory Manual policies (OSHA, DOT, FDA, Emergency Planning)
• Represents Lincare through professional appearance and written reports
• Facilitates prescription collection and maintains patient records
• On-call evenings and weekends as scheduled
