Job summary

Lincare Holdings is seeking a skilled Home Medical Equipment Technician to perform timely equipment setups in patients' homes, including ventilators, monitors, CPAP units, and oxygen systems.

The role emphasizes patient education, assessments, safety compliance, and coordinating with clinicians. Requires driving, state licensing, and the ability to train others as needed; travel and on-call shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Level 1 familiarity with home healthcare equipment and services.
• Level 2 minimum two years in home healthcare.
• Level 3 minimum three years in home healthcare, may involve training others.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient education as part of patient care in home settings.
• Performs complete and professional patient assessments per policies.
• Maintains knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and concepts.
• Follows Safety & Regulatory Manual policies (OSHA, DOT, FDA).
• Represents Lincare through professional appearance and written reports.
• Facilitates prescription collection and maintains patient records.
• On-call evenings and weekends as scheduled; response timely.
