Lincare Holdings in Elmwood, CT, seeks a field-based Respiratory Equipment Specialist to set up ventilators, monitors, and CPAP units in patients’ homes. You will provide technical assistance, maintain records, and ensure safety compliance while delivering high-quality patient care.

The role requires min. two years in home healthcare, up to three years with training responsibilities, and state-licensed credentials (CRTs/RRTs) as applicable. Travel and on-call shifts are required.

Qualifikationen

• Level 1 – Familiar with equipment and services provided in the home healthcare setting, or other patient care.
• Level 2 – Minimum of two years in home healthcare.
• Level 3 – Minimum of three years in home healthcare; may be involved in training of other Healthcare Specialists.

Aufgaben

• Provides patient education as part of patient care, often in patients' homes.
• Performs complete patient assessments according to policies and procedures.
• Maintains current knowledge of respiratory homecare techniques and related therapy concepts.
• Follows Safety, OSHA, DOT, FDA guidelines and Emergency Planning procedures.
• Represents Lincare with professional appearance, patient care, and written reports.
• Facilitates prescription collection and maintains patient records per accreditation standards.
• On-call evenings and weekends as scheduled; responsiveness required.
