Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to deliver comprehensive patient care across home, office, and hospital environments. You will act as a subject matter expert, providing equipment setup, maintenance, and training while ensuring HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation.

The role involves collaboration with CPAP/BIPAP program managers and operations, performing follow-ups, and providing high-quality service to respiratory patients while adhering to company policies and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in Medicare certified HME environment that bills insurance preferred.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license from state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Provide equipment instruction, service, and troubleshooting for respiratory patients.
• Set up PAP devices and fit masks with clear instructions.
• Conduct follow-up calls/visits to ensure optimal care outcomes.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality in all tasks.
• Maintain knowledge of current Respiratory Programs and products.
• Complete required paperwork including delivery tickets and billing forms.
