Xceptional Wildlife Removal is hiring a Home Repair Technician in Fredericksburg, VA.

What do our Home Repair Technicians do?

As a Home Repair Technician, you'll be the first responder for wildlife exclusion and minor home repairs, working with over 15 types of wildlife. You will also have the opportunity to earn sales commissions and build community relationships. Our team handles human-wildlife conflicts for residential and commercial clients, emphasizing customer service and quality.

• Pay range: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour.
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing minor repairs.
• Completing wildlife exclusion work.
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Working in tight spaces like attics, crawlspaces, roofs, and on ladders.
• Obtaining necessary industry licenses, provided and paid for by the company.
• Operating a motor vehicle safely and maintaining equipment.
• Engaging in physical activities such as climbing, crawling, and balancing.

Essential Job Functions:

• Attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn about pest control.
• Ability to work independently after training.

What do you need?

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• Successful background check.
• Valid driver's license and driving record check.
• Availability to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Good communication skills and basic math skills.
• Ability to maintain licenses/certificates as required.
• Customer service experience preferred.

• Wildlife or pest exclusion experience preferred.
• Construction or minor home repair experience preferred.
• Experience in field service, sales, or environmental services preferred.
• Military or vocational training background preferred.
