Job summary

Builder Backed, Inc. seeks a Home Project Sales Consultant who greets new Fischer Homes buyers and helps translate ideas into purchasable projects such as fences, blinds, decks, and more. You’ll manage inbound requests, pursue new homeowners through Move-In consultations, and guide projects from idea to purchase.

Typical project values range from $1,000 to $20,000. You will maintain a quota, coordinate with Deliver/Scope/Bid teams, and help shape Builder Backed's sales process as the company

Qualifications

• Three to five years of sales experience with a demonstrated ability to meet quotas.
• Experience forecasting monthly and quarterly targets.
• Ability to convert inbound opportunities and initiate outbound sales.
• Strong consultative selling across discovery, listening, presentation, follow-up.
• Comfort discussing pricing and budgets and selling by phone, video, and in person.
• Willingness to travel locally for consultations and in-home meetings.

Responsibilities

• Own and achieve assigned sales and gross-margin quotas.
• Maintain accurate opportunity information and weekly forecast of expected monthly and quarterly sales.
• Respond promptly to inbound project requests and proactively contact new homeowners for Move-In Consultations.
• Understand homeowner day-to-day living priorities, budget, timing, and decisions before recommending solutions.
• Explain project options, pricing, discounts, and incentives clearly; help prioritize and sequence projects.
• Build proficiency in move-in categories and understand materials, options, price ranges and benefits.
• Collaborate with Deliver, Scope, and Bid teams to ensure accuracy and deliverability of commitments.
• Help develop the sales playbook, tools, standards, and culture for scalability.
• Support onboarding during peak volume and other ad-hoc tasks.
