Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes, clinics, and long-term care settings. You will educate patients and caregivers on safe usage and troubleshooting, while ensuring safety and independence.

The role involves field-based, customer-facing work with on-call rotation and travel within assigned areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year healthcare technician or related experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to educate patients and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and support respiratory and HME equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and troubleshooting.
• Perform routine maintenance and handle emergency issues.
• Maintain documentation and reimbursement records.
• Operate company vehicle in a safe, compliant manner.
• Assist with patient assessments and care coordination.
• Adhere to HIPAA and infection control standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
