AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes and clinics. You’ll educate patients and caregivers on safe use, troubleshooting, and maintenance, ensuring comfort and independence.

The role emphasizes field-based work with daily patient visits, compliance with HIPAA, and essential documentation. A valid license and customer-service mindset are required for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service, field-based, healthcare experience preferred.
• One year of healthcare technician or related experience preferred; senior level requires two years including one year in a similar role.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and service respiratory and HME equipment at patient locations.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance of equipment.
• Perform patient assessments and re-assessments to support ongoing care.
• Respond to equipment issues, including emergencies.
• Maintain home oxygen systems during scheduled visits.
• Complete documentation and billing information accurately and timely.
