AdaptHealth LLC seeks a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients’ homes, clinics, and other settings. You will educate patients and caregivers, ensure safety, and help maintain equipment while complying with HIPAA and company policies.

The role emphasizes field-based service with on-site visits, on-call rotation, and opportunities to contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service, field-based, or healthcare experience preferred.
• One year of healthcare technician, military service, delivery/field service with customer service interaction or related experience preferred.
• Senior level requires two years of relevant experience, including one year in a similar role.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain knowledge of HME products, services, and regulations.
• Perform patient assessments and re-assessments to support ongoing care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use, care, and troubleshooting of respiratory and HME equipment.
• Respond to patient equipment issues, including emergencies when required.
• Deliver, set up, and maintain equipment in client homes per policies.
