Job summary

Accendra Health is hiring a Delivery Technician to deliver durable medical equipment to patients at their homes. You will load, unload, and deliver equipment, and may guide patients in basic use of respiratory therapy devices and related gear.

The role includes responding to urgent delivery requests during business hours and on-call shifts, with strict safety and documentation practices. A valid driver’s license and DOT-related requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
• At least one year related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older at the time of hire.
• Minimum of three years driving history required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver durable medical equipment to patients in the home.
• Pull, pack, deliver and pick up medications, supplies and basic equipment.
• Instruct patients on basic use of respiratory therapy equipment and other equipment.
• Load and unload equipment onto delivery vehicle.
• Respond to emergency delivery calls during regular hours and on-call.
