Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Delivery Technician to deliver durable medical equipment to patients in their homes. The role involves loading/unloading equipment and may include patient instruction on equipment use.

You will complete daily logs and ensure accurate paperwork and patient records. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year related experience, a valid driver's license, and three years of driving history.

Qualifications

• Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
• At least one year related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older at the time of hire.
• Minimum of three years driving history required.
• Successful completion of Apria Healthcare's Driver Training Program.
• Must meet job-related requirements to comply with D.O.T., F.D.A. and standards of accrediting body.

Responsibilities

• Deliver durable medical equipment to patients in their homes.
• Load, unload and handle equipment and supplies.
• Instruct patients on basic use of respiratory and O2 equipment.
• Complete daily delivery logs and paperwork.
• Maintain patient profiles and supply components.
• Notify supervisor of unsafe home environments.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
• Respond to emergency delivery calls when needed.
