Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Delivery Technician to deliver durable medical equipment to patients in the home. The role requires transporting medications, supplies and basic equipment, with duties including patient instruction and on-time delivery within a home-care setting.

The position supports home-based care, with routine vehicle maintenance and adherence to regulatory standards. Driver training and DOT compliance are emphasized for safety and service quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum 3 years driving history.
• DOT, FDA compliance training required.

Responsibilities

• Pull, pack, deliver and pick up medications, supplies and basic equipment.
• Instruct patients on basic use of respiratory and DME equipment.
• Load and unload equipment onto delivery vehicle.
• Respond to emergency delivery calls during business hours and on-call.
• Complete daily delivery logs and other required paperwork.
