Job summary

Accendra Health, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Technician to deliver durable medical equipment to patients in their homes. The role includes loading and unloading equipment, instructing patients on device use, and maintaining delivery logs.

You may respond to emergency deliveries during business hours and on-call. A high school diploma and driving experience are required. Applicants must meet DOT/FDA standards and possess a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
At least one year related experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire.
Minimum of three years driving history is required.
Must meet job-related requirements to comply with DOT, FDA and accrediting body standards.

Responsibilities

Pulls, packs, delivers and picks up medications, supplies and basic equipment.
Instructs patients on basic use of respiratory therapy equipment and related devices.
Loads and unloads durable medical equipment onto the delivery vehicle.
Completes daily delivery logs, forms and vehicle maintenance logs.
Performs routine vehicle maintenance and reports malfunctions.
Distributes paperwork to appropriate personnel.
