Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Delivery Technician to deliver durable medical equipment to patients in their homes across California. The role emphasizes safe handling, accurate documentation, and timely service to support patient care.

The position offers on-site duties with an hourly compensation range. A valid driver’s license and DOT compliance are required, with physical demands including lifting up to 100 lbs and flexible on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required.
• At least one year related experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older at the time of hire.
• Minimum of three years driving history required.

Responsibilities

• Pulls, packs, delivers and picks up medications, supplies and basic equipment.
• May instruct patients on basic use of respiratory therapy equipment and DME.
• Loads and unloads DME and infusion equipment onto delivery vehicle.
• Responds to emergency delivery calls during regular business hours and on-call.
• Completes paperwork including delivery logs and vehicle maintenance logs.
• Maintains patient profiles supply components.
• Notify supervisor if home conditions are unsafe or other issues are observed.
• May assist with repair of equipment.
• Performs routine vehicle maintenance and reports malfunctions.
