Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes and other care settings. You will educate patients, perform routine maintenance, and ensure proper documentation while upholding HIPAA and safety standards.

The role is field-based with on-site patient visits and on-call coverage as needed; a valid driver's license is required and a background in healthcare support is preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer service or field-based experience preferred.
• One year of healthcare technician or related experience preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and maintain home medical equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance; document activities.
• Coordinate with care teams and complete documentation accurately.
• Respond to equipment issues and support patient care in emergencies.
