Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment at patients’ homes, clinics, and other locations as needed.

You will educate patients and caregivers, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety and compliance while coordinating with care teams and respecting privacy standards. A valid driver’s license is required and field-based work is common.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of healthcare technician/delivery/field service experience preferred.
• Senior level requires 2 years of relevant experience, including 1 year in a similar role.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and troubleshooting.
• Perform patient assessments and follow-ups to support ongoing care.
• Maintain equipment and respond to issues, including emergencies when required.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and proper documentation for reimbursement.
