Job summary

AdaptHealth LLC is seeking a Medical Equipment Technician to safely deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment in patients' homes, clinics, or other facilities. You will educate patients and caregivers on proper use and safety, and respond to equipment issues with a focus on comfort and independence.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license, with prior healthcare or field-service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of healthcare technician, military service, delivery/field service with customer service interaction is preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and support respiratory and home medical equipment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use, care, and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and respond to equipment issues, including emergencies.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
