Job summary

Sparrow Health System is seeking a Home Medical Equipment Delivery Specialist to ensure prompt delivery and proper use of products in Michigan. You will load deliveries, install equipment, educate customers, and maintain necessary documentation.

Responsibilities include maintenance, liaison with families, TIMS data entry, and adherence to Medicare guidelines. On-call rotation is required.

Responsibilities

• Load products from warehouse and deliver to customers; determine delivery priority.
• Install product for customer and instruct on its use per manuals.
• Ensure customer/caregiver demonstrates product use; provide written instructions.
• Maintain a daily delivery log (time, location).
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on home medical equipment.
• Serve as liaison between company, customers, and caregivers.
• Assist in cleaning and disinfecting equipment and delivery vehicles.
• Enter patient information into TIMS system.
• Educate on Patient/Client Bill of Rights and payment responsibilities.
• Adhere to Corporate Compliance Policies including Medicare guidelines.
• Subject to on-call rotation.
