Job summary

Lincare is hiring a Delivery Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of home medical equipment to patients and to provide equipment setup and patient education on proper use. The role emphasizes safe driving, patient interaction, and adherence to routes, schedules, and regulatory protocols.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of driving experience. A positive, professional image and good communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Good communication, able to read and write clearly.

Responsibilities

• Follow patient orientation checklists during delivery and training.
• Adhere to routes and schedules.
• Maintain a safe driving record and comply with transportation laws.
• Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle for safety during loading/unloading.
• Establish and maintain positive relations with patients and internal teams.
• Keep delivery vehicle and warehouse clean and organized, adhere to FDA/DOT protocols.
• Participate in on-call rotation during evenings/weekends for emergencies.
