As a Home Measurement Specialist, you’ll be the first step in bringing our customers’ remodeling dreams to life. You’ll visit homes, gather precise measurements, and document existing conditions so our Design and Production teams can create plans with confidence and accuracy. Your work lays the foundation for every successful project.

What You’ll Do
Capture Accurate Existing Conditions
- Travel to customers’ homes to perform detailed measurements of rooms, fixtures, and structural elements.
- Document existing conditions using measurement tools, photos, video, and digital imaging.
- Complete Home Surveys, accurately identifying key home systems such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and exterior elements.
- Create as-built sketches or input data into company systems to support design development.
Support the Design Process
- Create accurate as-built drawings and existing-condition plans in Chief Architect based on field measurements and site documentation.
- Provide clear, organized documentation that enables designers to create precise construction drawings and plans.
- Communicate findings and observations with Designers, Project Managers, and Sales team members.
- Ensure all measurements and notes meet COCOON’s standards for accuracy and completeness.
Deliver a Great Customer Experience
- Represent COCOON professionally in customers’ homes.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully during site visits.
- Help customers feel comfortable and confident throughout the process.
What You’ll Need
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy (this is a must).
- Familiarity with measurement tools and understanding of floor plans.
- Basic knowledge of residential construction terminology and methods.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Comfort using digital tools, cameras, and documentation software.
- Proven knowledge of and hands‑on experience using Chief Architect for creating as-built and existing-condition drawings.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
