TSI Raleigh, LLC. seeks a Home Infusion Compounding Technician to assist with sterile preparation and patient supplies under pharmacist supervision in a busy infusion setting.

Responsibilities include following USP 797, maintaining environmental controls, proper labeling, inventory management, logging, and coordinating deliveries and patient follow-ups to ensure uninterrupted therapy. This role requires adherence to safety standards and daily quality checks, in collaboration with the Pharmacist

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of pharmacy technician training preferred.
• Experience in compounding or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Registered with State Board of Pharmacy if applicable in state(s) of service area(s).

Mansioni

• Perform sterile compounding per USP 797.
• Follow SOPs, USP 797, and Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Clean all work surfaces, equipment, floors, ceilings, and walls according to USP 797 and SOPs.
• Maintain sterile compounding competencies.
• Assure proper labeling of all drugs and containers.
• Monitor environmental conditions daily and report when readings are out of range.
• Maintain On Track Task Logs daily.
• Manage timely refills to prevent interruptions in patient treatment.
• Upload delivery tickets and confirm deliveries with signed Admission Agreement.
• Conduct patient follow-up assessment calls and document thoroughly.
• Order medication to keep inventory well-stocked and ensure patient needs are met.
• Enter supplies into Vital Systems inventory.
• Store drugs safely and keep workspace organized.
• Inspect shelves to prevent shortages and reorder as needed.
• Conduct monthly inventory of ambulatory infusion supplies.
• Report misconduct or unethical activities to Human Resources.
• Build positive relationships with clients and provide proactive support.
• Maintain good written and verbal communication with colleagues and patients.
• Assist with quality control and performance improvement activities as directed by the PIC.
