Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Home Infusion Registered Nurse to manage IV treatments in ambulatory infusion settings and in patients’ homes. The role emphasizes caring for patients, coordinating with the pharmacy team, and teaching patients and families about home IV management.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license with at least two years of clinical nursing experience and peripheral IV skills, including PICC/PORT training. CPR certification is required to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN license in state(s) of employment.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• Peripheral IV skills required; PICC/PORT training desired.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients requiring IV treatment.
• Administer IV therapies in AIS or patient’s home.
• Assess venipuncture sites and patient condition.
• Document patient care observations and care plans.
• Educate patients and caregivers on IV management.
• Collaborate with pharmacy and care teams to prioritize patient care.
