Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Home Infusion Registered Nurse - PRN to deliver IV therapy in ambulatory suites and patients’ homes. You will provide clinical care, teach home IV management, and coordinate with the pharmacy to ensure safe, effective patient care.

Requirements include an RN license, associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing, and at least two years of nursing experience; pediatric experience is preferred. Compensation is competitive and schedules are flexible.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Active RN license in state of employment.
• Minimum of two years in clinical nursing with patient care.
• Peripheral IV skills required.
• PICC/PORT training desired.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care to patients needing IV treatment.
• Administers IV therapies in AIS and patient homes.
• Determines venipuncture and catheter site.
• Observes treatment and records observations in records.
• Instructs patients/caregivers on home IV management.
• Collaborates with pharmacy to set priorities and goals.
• Monitors patient response and provides psychosocial support.
• Completes required documentation and participates in meetings.
• Occasional on-call triage after hours.
