Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking an Infusion Nurse II to coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care in the home or an alternate infusion suite under a physician’s plan of care. You will supervise care under structured supervision and ensure patient safety and continuity of care.

The role involves patient assessments, teaching families, coordinating with the clinical team, and documenting activities in real-time for billing and compliance. Travel up to 100% may be required.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle with liability insurance.
• Basic knowledge of computer operating systems and software applications.
• BSN preferred.
• 1–2 years infusion nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments.
• Provides direct patient care, administers medications, and educates patients/families.
• Modifies treatment plans as needed and communicates changes to physicians.
• Coordinates discharge planning and prepares discharge summaries.
• Maintains real-time clinical documentation and data accuracy.
