UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Home Infusion Nurse to deliver one-on-one skilled care to patients in their homes or ambulatory infusion suites around Racine, WI. This role offers true autonomy, a flexible schedule, and the chance to build meaningful patient connections while delivering life-changing therapies.

You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team, receive comprehensive training, and have access to benefits, paid drive time, and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifikationen

• Active and unrestricted RN license in MN.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Comfortable performing IV starts in diverse patient populations.
• Ability to work independently with solid clinical judgment and teamwork.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Preferred: home infusion experience; 1+ years infusion/IV therapy experience; familiarity with EMR platforms and MS Office.
• Knowledge of INS standards; HIPAA/ OSHA and home infusion guidelines.

Aufgaben

• Travel to patient homes and related sites using personal or rental vehicle.
• Provide safe and compliant infusion services per physician orders.
• Educate patients and caregivers on self-care and self-administration.
• Assess home infusion suitability, including safety and caregiver support.
• Obtain and maintain patient histories, plans of care, visit notes, and discharge summaries.
• Administer medications and monitor responses, manage infusion reactions and vitals.
• Communicate patient status with the care team.
• Assist in staff orientation and act as a clinical educator.
