Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Home Infusion Nurse to provide skilled clinical care to patients in homes or ambulatory infusion suites. The role offers autonomy, a flexible schedule, and the chance to build meaningful connections while delivering life-changing therapies.

You will support a multidisciplinary team, receive comprehensive training, and help ensure safe, effective infusion care with educational outreach to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active Iowa RN license
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• 1+ year RN infusion/IV therapy experience
• Valid driver's license and ability to cover 80 mile radius
• Ability to work independently with clinical judgment

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes and sites using a personal or rental vehicle
• Provide safe infusion services per policies and orders
• Educate patients and caregivers on self-care and therapy
• Assess home infusion suitability and caregiver support
• Maintain patient histories, plans of care, and discharge summaries
• Deliver nursing care per physician orders and treatment plans
• Establish and access vascular devices
• Administer medications and monitor responses
• Communicate status to care team
• Assist in staff orientation and training
