Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Home Infusion Nurse to provide one-on-one clinical care in patients' homes or ambulatory infusion sites in Missouri. The role offers true autonomy, a full-time schedule, and travel within the service radius with paid drive time and mileage.

Responsibilities include administering infusions, education on self-care, documenting patient data, and coordinating with physicians, pharmacists, and care teams. RN licensure in MO and BLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in MO.
• MO or Compact RN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain prior to start.
• 2+ years RN infusion or IV therapy experience in a clinical setting.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to cover 80 mile radius.
• Willingness to travel to patient homes and infusion sites within MO.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes and infusion sites using a personal or rental vehicle.
• Provide safe and compliant infusion services per physician orders.
• Educate patients and caregivers on self-care and self-administration.
• Assess home safety and caregiver support for infusion therapy.
• Maintain patient histories, documentation, and care plans.
• Deliver skilled nursing care per treatment plans and orders.
• Manage vascular access devices and administer medications.
• Communicate patient status with care team.
• Assist in staff orientation and training as needed.
