Job summary

Always Compassionate Health in New York seeks an experienced Home Infusion Registered Nurse to deliver chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion therapies in patients’ homes around the Bronx.

Applicants need 3–4 years of hands-on chemo/immunotherapy experience, an active NY RN license, and ONCC certification. You will collaborate with families, pharmacies, physicians, and our Infusion Intake Team from admission through follow-up.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted New York State RN license and registration.
• Minimum of 3–4 years of recent chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration experience.
• Current ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate or applicable ONCC certification.
• Recent infusion experience in home care, oncology, infusion center, hospital, or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments in the patient’s home.
• Review and interpret physicians’ orders and treatment plans.
• Prepare and administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologic medications, and prescribed infusion therapies.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Recognize and respond to infusion reactions and other clinical changes.
• Perform peripheral IV insertion and phlebotomy.
• Access and manage PICCs, midlines, central venous catheters, and implanted ports.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment, side effects, and safety.
