The manager will serve as pharmacist‑in‑charge, maintain coverage, and coordinate patient services with nursing, delivery and reimbursement teams. The role oversees budgeting, purchasing, inventory and security of drugs and medical supplies, leads quality and patient‑safety programs, mentors staff, and ensures on‑call coverage and leadership

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist with clinical and operational oversight.
• Pharmacy leadership and regulatory compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Determines patient suitability for home or alternate-site care.
• Supervises, monitors, and evaluates the quality, safety, and effectiveness of care provided by pharmacy staff.
• Monitors quality and patient-safety performance and responds to adverse trends and audit findings.
• Ensures adherence to sterile compounding standards and competency of team members performing those activities.
• Oversees cleanroom engineering controls and maintenance and designates qualified personnel for sterile compounding.
• Leads the pharmacy quality-management and patient-safety program and manages deviations and root-cause analyses.
• Directs pharmacy department activities and staffs to meet patients' pharmaceutical-care needs.
• Oversees pharmacy workflow, purchasing, inventory and equipment management; manages budgets and formulary compliance.
• Mentors staff through onboarding, training and performance management processes.
• Coordinates and participates in pharmacy on-call responsibilities and leadership coverage when out of office.
