Job summary

Joseph Michaels International in Columbia, SC seeks a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager (PIC) to oversee operations across the pharmacy, administrative, and sales functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

You will supervise staff, manage finances, and partner with owners and the corporate office to improve performance, quality of care, and infusion therapy services including sterile compounding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or PharmD in good standing with GA Board of Pharmacy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with staff, referral sources, physicians, and patients.
• Excellent written and verbal customer service and computer skills.
• Business and financial understanding to operate a profitable business.
• Pref: 3 years clinical experience
• Pref: experience managing pharmacy support staff
• Pref: at least 1 year infusion therapy and sterile compounding
• Pref: sterile compounding training

Responsibilities

• Performs management activities in compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.
• Oversees the pharmacy maintenance and organization.
• Liaises between Board of Management and staff.
• Interviews, orients, and evaluates department staff.
• Upholds regulatory mandates for healthcare provision.
• Implements company policies and protocols for consumer service.
• Contributes to strategic planning to increase revenue and improve care quality.
• Maintains USP <797> knowledge for sterile compounding quality.
• Oversees performance improvement processes and assigns staff to projects.
• Reviews physician orders for therapeutic appropriateness and safety.
