Job summary

Saint Cyr Partners in Columbia, SC seeks a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager (PIC) to oversee pharmacy, administrative, and sales operations in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. The Manager (PIC) oversees and evaluates the financial status of the company, communicates with owners/corporate office on finance, performance improvement, and clinical implementation of therapies.

Qualifications

• B.S. or PharmD in good standing with GA Board of Pharmacy.
• Strong interactive skills with employees, referral sources, physicians, and consumers.
• Excellent written and verbal customer service and advanced computer skills.
• Business and financial understanding of operating a profitable business.
• Three+ years clinical experience (preferred).
• Experience managing pharmacy support personnel (preferred).
• Infusion therapy and sterile compounding experience (preferred).
• Sterile compounding training (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs pharmacy management activities in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards and organizational policies.
• Oversees the physical maintenance and organization of the pharmacy.
• Acts as a liaison between the Board of Managements and staff.
• Interviews, orients, and evaluates employees within company departments.
• Upholds regulatory mandates on provision of health care by professionals.
• Resolves questions, problems, and issues for departments and staff.
• Implements and upholds company policies and protocols in service delivery.
• Participates in strategic planning to increase revenue and improve care quality.
• Maintains USP <797> knowledge for sterile preparations.
• Leads performance improvement processes and assigns staff to initiatives.
• Reviews charts and lab results for therapeutic appropriateness and safety.
• Monitors patient progress and communicates results to the healthcare team.
• Supervises compounding, packaging, and labeling of products.
• Assists in training new employees and educational programs.
• Participates in on-call rotation as needed.
