Job summary

Htprof in Columbia, SC seeks a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager (PIC) to oversee all departments—pharmacy, administrative staff, and sales—ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with company policies. The role includes communicating with owners and the corporate office on finances, performance, and clinical program implementation.

You will supervise the entire pharmacy and staff, maintain operations, uphold USP standards for sterile compounding, participate in strategic planning to grow

Qualifications

• Must hold B.S. or PharmD in good standing with NC Board of Pharmacy
• Strong interpersonal skills with employees, referral sources, physicians, and consumers
• Excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills
• Business and financial understanding to operate a profitable pharmacy
• Clinical experience (preferred: 3 years)
• Experience managing pharmacy support personnel (preferred)
• Infusion therapy experience (preferred)
• Sterile compounding training (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform pharmacy management activities in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
• Oversee the physical maintenance and organization of the pharmacy
• Serve as liaison between management and staff
• Interview, orient, and evaluate employees across departments
• Uphold regulatory mandates in health care services
• Resolve questions and issues across departments
• Implement and uphold company policies and protocols for patients
• Participate in strategic planning to increase revenue and care quality
• Maintain USP <797> knowledge for sterile compounding quality
• Lead performance improvement across management, clinical, and operations
• Review charts and lab results for accuracy and safety
• Evaluate physician orders for therapeutic appropriateness and cost
• Monitor patient progress and communicate results to the care team
• Supervise compounding, packaging, and labeling of products
• Assist in training and onboarding of new staff
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed
