Top Echelon LLC in Columbia, SC is seeking a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager (PIC) to oversee the operations of all departments within the company including pharmacy, administrative/clerical, and sales in compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures.

The Manager (PIC) oversees and evaluates the financial status of the company, communicates with owners and the corporate office as needed on issues of finance, performance improvement, sales, or clinical

Qualifications

• B.S or PharmD in good standing with NC Board of Pharmacy.
• Good interactive skills with employees, referral sources, physicians, and consumers.
• Excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills.
• Business and financial understanding of operating a profitable business.

Responsibilities

• Performs pharmacy management activities in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards and organizational policies.
• Oversees the physical maintenance and organization of the pharmacy.
• Acts as a liaison between the Board of Managements and staff.
• Interviews, orients, and evaluates employees within company departments.
• Upholds regulatory mandates on provision of health care by professionals.
• Resolves questions, problems, and issues for departments and staff.
• Implements and upholds company policies and protocols for consumer service.
• Participates in strategic planning to increase revenue and improve care quality.
• Maintains knowledge of USP <797> for sterile compounding quality and sterility.
• Oversees performance improvement processes and assigns staff to improvements.
• Reviews charts and lab results for acceptance and product/ device selection.
• Evaluates physician medication orders for appropriateness, cost, safety, and completeness.
• Monitors patient progress and communicates clinical information to physicians.
• Supervises the pharmacy staff in compounding, packaging, and labeling.
• Assists in training and orientation of new employees and educational programs.
• Participates in on-call rotation as needed.
