National Coalition of Healthcare Recruiters seeks a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager (PIC) to oversee all departments—pharmacy, admin, and sales—ensuring regulatory compliance and smooth operation. The role includes financial oversight and strategic collaboration with owners and the corporate office.

The candidate should hold a PharmD or B.S. with NC Board of Pharmacy, possess strong people skills, and demonstrate business acumen.

Qualifications

• Must hold B.S. or PharmD and be in good standing with the NC Board of Pharmacy.
• Adept at communicating with employees, referral sources, physicians and consumers.
• Excellent written and verbal customer service skills and strong computer skills.
• Solid business and financial understanding to operate a profitable pharmacy.
• Preferred: three years of clinical experience.
• Preferred: experience managing pharmacy support personnel.
• Preferred: one year infusion therapy and sterile compounding experience.
• Preferred: sterile compounding training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacy operations in compliance with regulations and organizational policies.
• Manage physical pharmacy maintenance and organization.
• Act as liaison between management and staff.
• Interview, orient, and evaluate employees across departments.
• Ensure regulatory mandates in health care delivery.
• Provide resources to departments for questions and issues.
• Implement and uphold company policies and protocols for patient service.
• Contribute to strategic planning to increase revenue and improve care quality.
• Maintain knowledge of USP for sterility and quality of compounded products.
• Lead performance improvement and assign staff to initiatives.
• Review charts and lab results for product and device selection.
• Assess physician orders for clinical appropriateness and safety.
• Monitor patient progress and share clinical updates with the care team.
• Supervise compounding, packaging, and labeling of products.
• Assist in training and orientation of new staff and ongoing programs.
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed.
