Job summary

Zaddy Solutions in Columbia, SC, seeks a Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager (PIC) to oversee the pharmacy, administrative, clerical and sales operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

You will supervise staff, manage finances, engage with owners and corporate, and drive performance improvement while maintaining sterility and quality of compounded products per USP <797>.

Qualifications

• Requires B.S or PharmD in good standing with GA Board of Pharmacy.
• Strong interpersonal skills with employees, referral sources, physicians, and patients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and advanced computer skills.
• Business and financial understanding of operating a profitable business.

Responsibilities

• Perform pharmacy management activities in compliance with standards and policies.
• Oversee physical maintenance and organization of the pharmacy.
• Serve as liaison between management and staff.
• Interview, orient, and evaluate employees.
• Uphold regulatory mandates on health care provision.
• Resolve questions and issues within departments.
• Implement and uphold company policies in service delivery.
• Participate in strategic planning to increase revenue and improve care quality.
• Maintain USP <797> knowledge for sterile compounding quality.
• Oversee performance improvement processes and staff assignments.
• Review charts and lab results for product and device selection.
• Evaluate physician orders for therapeutic appropriateness and safety.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate results to the medical team.
• Supervise staff in compounding, packaging, and labeling.
• Assist in training and orientation of new employees.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
