Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking an Infusion Nurse II to coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care in patients’ homes or infusion suites.

You will work under supervision to ensure safety, continuity, and compliance with the physician’s plan of care while delivering high-quality infusion therapy. You will assess patient needs during visits, educate patients and families, and document care in real-time for timely billing and compliance.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 years of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care in the home or infusion suite.
• Assess patient needs and re-evaluate status; communicate changes to physician.
• Provide training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I as needed.
• Educate patients and families to promote independence with prescribed therapy.
• Document care in real-time for billing and compliance with policies.
• Coordinate discharge planning and summarize patient care needs for transitions.
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements and company policies.
