Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is the nation’s largest home infusion provider, delivering intermediate nursing care in patients' homes or alternate infusion suites.

The Infusion Nurse II role requires an active RN license, at least 1 year of nursing experience, and CPR certification. Responsibilities include planning, delivery of treatments, patient education, and close coordination with the clinical team to ensure continuity of care while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with HIPAA

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments, educating patients and families.
• Assesses patient needs during visits and updates plan per physician orders.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I’s as needed.
• Communicates with the clinical team, patients and families to coordinate care and ensure timely documentation.
• Completes documentation for billing and compliance and participates in discharge planning.
