Job summary

Option Care Health is hiring an Infusion Nurse II in Virginia, providing intermediate direct patient care in the home or infusion suite under physician orders. Requires active RN license, 1+ year nursing experience, and CPR certification. Travel up to 100% may be required across the U.S.

You will mentor staff and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team. Role emphasizes safety, documentation, and adherence to HIPAA and policy guidelines while supporting patient education and care plan

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments and educates patients and families.
• Assesses patient needs at each visit and documents plan revisions promptly.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I’s as needed.
• Communicates with the care team to ensure continuity of care and timely billing documentation.
• Coordinates discharge planning and prepares patient instructions upon transfer.
