Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales if education not met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience in a sales environment with goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state (Lowe’s will support).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by seeking out customers and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors, providing estimates, scheduling visits, processing orders, and following up on project completion.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales/services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales, working with vendors/stores to replace stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing/documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and departmental requests for assistance.
• Train associates in the department with on-the-job coaching.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
