Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand their home improvement needs, and guide them to the right products. You will become the product expert, explaining specifications, features, and financing options to close sales.

You’ll rotate through departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, and more, contributing to a fast-paced store environment with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe's if education not met).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with sales goals or metrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, handling estimates, scheduling visits, processing orders and follow-ups.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales and coordinate with vendors/stores to restock.
