Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand project needs, and guide them to the right products and services. You will become a product expert, explain specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

The role involves working in one of several departments, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales goals in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand/sit for prolonged periods and lift 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and explaining product advantages.
• Serve as a department contact for customers and vendors, coordinating estimates and orders.
• If in Pro Department, focus on outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors for stock and replacements.
• Assist with checkout, store tasks, and training colleagues on the floor.
