Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist who will be one of the first employees customers meet. Your sales knowledge helps customers find the right products and turn great project ideas into reality in a fast-paced store environment.

You will become the product expert, informing customers about specifications, features, promotions, and financing options to close sales. You'll work across departments as needed, delivering friendly service to help customers complete their home improvement goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer-facing sales experience or Lowe's experience.
• Ability to meet sales goals and metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and explaining product advantages.
• Serve as department liaison for customers and vendors, handling estimates and scheduling.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with vendors to restock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and assist customers on the sales floor.
• Train associates and coach on development needs.
