Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist to assist customers with project needs, provide product knowledge, and close sales in a fast-paced retail environment. You will become the product expert, explaining features, promotions, and financing options while delivering excellent service.

The role supports a range of departments like Appliances, Flooring, Windows & Walls, and more, with opportunities to grow through bonus programs, health options, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer-facing sales experience or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales)
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with goals/metrics
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted
• Obtain sales-related licensure if required by law (Lowe's will support)

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, handle estimates, scheduling, orders/installations, and follow-ups
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores to find merchandise
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing/docs
• Support all checkout functions and assist as needed
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach development
• Complete other duties as assigned
