Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Sales Specialist to help customers select home improvement products and transform ideas into successful projects. You will guide purchases, share product knowledge, and highlight promotions, financing, and service options to close sales.

You will work in a department such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, and more, interacting with customers, vendors, and teammates to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in customer-facing sales or six months in Lowe’s retail.
• One year of sales or customer service experience with goals/metrics.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
• Lift a minimum of 25 lbs unassisted or with assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and explaining product advantages.
• Act as the department contact for customers and vendors, handling estimates, scheduling, orders, and installations.
• If in Pro, focus on external accounts and outside sales/services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores for stock and replacements.
• Perform price reviews according to policies and maintain pricing documentation.
• Assist with checkout, requests for assistance, and department training of associates.
