Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, assess project needs, and guide them to the best home improvement solutions. You will become a product expert, explain features and financing, and help close sales while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or Lowe’s retail experience, or 3 years external sales experience if education requirement is not met.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience in a sales environment with goals or metrics.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand/sit for prolonged periods and lift 25 lbs.
• Sales licensure/registration if required by state, Lowe's will support.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and showcasing Lowe's products and services.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors in your department, handling estimates, scheduling, orders, and installations.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory, coordinate with vendors/stores to reorder stock.
• Assist with price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout, in-store communications, and assist colleagues as needed.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach for development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
