Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. seeks a Customer Service Associate to greet customers and help them find home improvement products and services. You will engage with shoppers, answer questions, and support store operations throughout your shift.

Ideal candidates bring a customer-focused approach, comfort with retail tech, and ability to stock and assist across departments. This is a part-time role emphasizing flexible schedules and hands-on learning.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, or outputting information).
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to stand, sit, and perform job duties for extended periods.
• Able to minimally lift 25 pounds or more with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, answer questions, and deliver friendly service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandising areas by identifying empty spaces and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so items arrive on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to enhance customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., paint, pipe, wood, drywall).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
