Job summary

Lowe’s in Monroe, LA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them find the right products, and provide friendly service to solve home improvement needs. You may assist with loading merchandise and ensuring customer needs are met throughout the day.

You will work with diverse departments, receive flexible scheduling options, and gain access to benefits and growth opportunities. This role emphasizes customer engagement and a team-driven store environment.

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Able to stand, sit, and perform activities required by the role.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted or more with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
